The Eden Project 
Discover the beautiful sandy beaches just a stone's throw away, with Carne and Pendower offer stunning views and relaxing walks and make them firm family favorites. Also located only a couple of miles away is Veryan village, known for its unique round houses, a Norman church and village shop. 
Enjoy a scenic route from Portloe to Carne, where you can treat yourself to delightful coffee or lunch at the Nare Hotel. Alternatively, take a pleasant stroll up from Pendower beach and visit Melinsey Mill, a charming café and working mill. On sunny days, don’t forget to pack a picnic—and perhaps a kite—for a perfect day out!

There are no shortage of activities to keep you occupied during your stay. Why not hire a bicycle (electric bikes avalable) and explore the Camel trail, maybe stopping off to try an award winning glass of sparkling wine from Camel Valley Vneyard. 
Or take a sea safari to look for dolphins and whales or try your hand at foraging.
